This class will focus teaching your dog to locate a specific odor and to give a trained response when located. We will continue to build your dog’s desire to hunt using positive reinforcement while also introducing the dog to different search venues. Handlers will continue to learn how to read their dog’s unique hunting/finding cues and how to pick up on subtle signals that communicate to the handler that the dog is “working scent.”
Must complete Level 1 Scent Work class, or have prior approval to join. Dogs must be at least 3 months of age and able to walk on leash.
All classes are held outdoors unless otherwise noted. Bellevue locations TBD.
Classes meet weekly for 4 weeks. Cost is $275/per dog. If you plan to have multiple dogs in class, please ensure each has a handler.
No refunds for cancellations prior to 1 week before class.
